I'm surprised that owner hadn't arranged for the building to be occupied.
A big empty house is an invitation for homeless people to find a place to
sleep....and sometimes build a fire to stay warm.

Are there any James Moulton papers available in St.Louis? I'd love to see
if he reported on any of his meetings with Sam who must have contacted him
when he came through St.Louis.
