The School of Public Health at the University of Alberta is pleased to
announce a new issue of Healthe-news.

In this issue:

Evidence-informed decisions - A win-win - Public health researchers
generate evidence but sometimes struggle with getting it into the hands
of decision makers. Decision makers see themselves as using evidence to
make good decisions. But, what is "evidence" and is it really being used
for better decision making?

Shaking the salt (and sodium) habit - Do you often enjoy popcorn at the
movie theatre? Do you have a habit of pulling out the salt shaker at the
dinner table? If so, you're not alone. So why should you be concerned

which we work and play.
