Penn State's Eating Disorder Programs

The Penn Stater Conference Center Hotel
State College, Pennsylvania
June 6- and 7, 2003

Preconference Workshop: Eating Disorders: An Integrative Approach, June 5,
2003

**********************************************************

Registrations are still being accepted for the Workshop and the
Conference! Register for both and save $50!

The Workshop
Eating Disorders: An Integrative Approach
June 5, 2003
How can clinicians develop a stronger, more comprehensive treatment
plan for their clients? This workshop, featuring Judith Ruskay
Rabinor, Ph.D., author of A Starving Madness: Tales of Hunger, Hope,
and Healing in Psychotherapy, can help clinicians integrate
theoretical concepts into their practices. Examine various therapies;
identify symptoms and treatments involving familial, biological,
cultural, and psychological factors, including trauma; learn from
case presentations; and develop specific strategies for successful
treatment.

The Conference
Ninth Annual Eating Disorders on Campus: The Institutional Response
June 6 and 7, 2003
How can campus officials respond effectively to eating disorders on
campus? This conference can help university and college health
professionals develop a strategy for assessing, treating, and
preventing student eating disorders. Hear an inspiring keynote
success story; attend a panel discussion concerning eating-disordered
athletes; follow a professional's experience in caring for an
eating-disordered loved one; and choose two workshops from a variety
of subjects.

Interested persons are welcome to register for the preconference
workshop and/or the conference. Save $50 by registering for both the
workshop and the conference.
