Innovation Takes Leadership:
Ivey Global Health Innovation Conference
November 29th and 30th, 2010
Delta Chelsea, 33 Gerrard Street West
Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Building off the tremendous success of last year's inaugural
conference, this year's conference remains focused on the
intersection of innovation and leadership, both being required to
face the daunting challenges of Canada's health care system.

The program line-up begins with a keynote address by Dr. Jason Hwang,
co-author of the "Innovators Prescription: A Disruptive Solution for
Health Care". This top-selling book is recognized internationally as
a provocative road-map for health care system reform in any country.

The keynote is followed by four panels: (1) The Financial Challenge;
(2) The Quality Challenge; (3) The Innovation Challenge; (4) The
Leader's Forum. All panels are being designed to elicit the a
stimulating debate; the most informed insight; and, most importantly,
help the Ivey Centre identify the gaps in knowledge that will form the
basis of our work in the coming year.

Some of the speakers participating in the conference include the
Honourable Tony Clement, Minister of Industry; John Abbott, CEO,
Health Council of Canada; Derek Burleton, Chief Economist, TD Bank;
Saad Rafi, Ontario Deputy Minister of Health & Long Term Care;
Dominic Pilla, President, McKesson Canada and many other leaders from
Canada's health industry.

This conference will again bring together thought leaders from across
the global health system to examine new approaches to our health
challenges. Your participation will benefit the centre by providing
your unique perspective. You will benefit from an interaction and
lively discussion among thought leaders and those on the front-line
of making our society healthier.
