I too would be interested in that story. I have a 1907 photograph of 
Twain by A F Bradley, 5th Ave., NYC, taken in 1907, signed by Bradley 
and Twain, supposedly for the benefit of SF earthquake victims (not 
Coolbrith in particular), but I've not been able to verify this claim.
