New Manuals from the National Eating Disorder Information Centre

Individuals suffering from disordered eating, their parents and friends,
health care workers and educators, can now readily get clear, credible,
easy reading information: the National Eating Disorder Information
Centre (NEDIC) has developed three new manuals that cover a wide range
of topics. These include: our cultural obsession with thinness; eating
disorders as coping strategies; overcoming food and weight
preoccupation; a guide for family and friends, and how to find help and
alternative coping strategies. Each manual is available in English and
French.

NEDIC is a non-profit organization that provides information and
resources on food and weight preoccupation to an international audience.
A primary role of NEDIC is to raise general awareness around the issues
of eating disorders, food and weight preoccupation through the provision
of public education in all of its forms.

To order these books see our gift shop on our website at www.nedic.ca or
