This national institute of research would probably have many studies on this
topic. It is a huge issue for many professionals who come to Canada.

There is also a short documentary on this topic (though it is on doctors in
general, and not just community health / public health physicians). The
issue is very systemic.

If anyone has further questions, I can put you in the direction of some
further resources.

Subject: Foreign-trained doctors in Canada

Increasingly, I am encountering foreign-trained doctors who are trying to
figure out what opportunities they may have in fields such as health
promotion, health policy, and community health.

Canada makes it very difficult for many to practice here.

If any of you have any insights or ideas I would appreciate hearing them.

I think you can post to the list as I am sure there are many others with
the same questions.

Thanks,

dennis
