Greetings

The previous message is a good reminder that we can all use a 'refresher' on
how to manage a listserv subscription. Generally, if you have specific
questions about your own subscription - please send them to the list-owners
(rather than the whole list), by addressing your message to
[log in to unmask]
We can assist you by changing your email address, subscribing or
unsubscribing, and changing your options. But it is always best to know how
to do these elist options yourself.

First the *basics*
All commands for the Click4HP ListServ go to a large computer based at York
University that manages hundreds of similar lists. The email address for
that server is: [log in to unmask]

In all of your messages to the ListServ you must
- leave the Subject Line blank
- include the name of the list [CLICK4HP] in the command
- delete your signature file or any extra comments - or put the word end

after your command

To Subscribe (or Unsubscribe):
In the body of the message (sent to [log in to unmask]) type in only
Subscribe CLICK4HP firstname lastname

To unsubscribe, you will need to type in only
Unsubscribe CLICK4HP

Your email address will be read by the listserver - so be sure that you are
sending from where you wish to eceive. A confirmation message will be sent
to you to reply to, to ensure that you are not being added by someone else.

To change your subscription to DIGEST:

In the body of the message type in only
SET CLICK4HP DIGEST

It might mean that you will receive many of the postings a second time
today, when the digest is sent out at midnight with all of the messages in
that day contained in one message.
(to turn it off you would send another message to [log in to unmask] with
SET CLICK4HP NODIGEST)

To stop receiving email messages from the Click4HP list for a period of time
(while remaining a member)

In the body of the message type in
SET CLICK4HP NOMAIL

To start receiving email messages from the list after returning send your
message to the listserver and in the body of the message type in
SET CLICK4HP MAIL

To review the list of Click4HP subscribers - send a message to the
listserver in the body of the message type in
REVIEW CLICK4HP
this command lets you see a list of all of the subscribers on the list, who
are not "concealed"

To "hide" your name and email address from any subscriber who may wish to
'review' the list.
send your message to the listserver and in the body of the message type in
Set Click4HP Conceal
- Note that *only* list subscribers can Review the subscribers list.

You can also get a more detailed list of commands from
[log in to unmask]
with the command (remember to leave the subject line blank)
INFO REFCARD

Only you can make these modifications - other members on Click4HP cannot do
it for you. If you have any questions about your subscription - please do
contact the list-owners directly at
[log in to unmask]

And lastly, remember the CLICK4HP list archives are easily accessible and
searchable in a new website (where, with a little work, you can manage your
subscription settings as well) at
