* Gerontology professionals gather in Charlottetown, PEI May 27-30th,
2015 *
The Canadian Gerontological Nursing Association (CGNA) and the Prince
Edward Island GNA are proud to host the 18th Biennial CGNA Conference
entitled Crossing Bridges, Fostering Potential in Gerontological Nursing
from May 27-30, 2015 in Charlottetown, PEI.
The CGNA conference is the only event of its kind that focuses on all
facets of health and wellness in the care of older adults. Given the
country’s aging population, it is more important than ever for
gerontological nurses, students and other health professionals to stay
informed of the latest research, innovations and challenges in the
field.
“As the number of people over the age of 65 increases, so do the
fascinating and relevant topics we will be discussing in Charlottetown,”
says Elaine Campbell, 2015 Conference Co-Chair. “This year’s educational
program will feature expert perspectives on the state of healthcare for
older adults now and in the future, while providing the opportunity to
network with peers and enjoy all of Prince Edward Island’s hospitality.”
CGNA is thrilled to announce SCA Personal Care (TENA), the world leader
in incontinence care and skin care products, as the Gold Sponsor for
this three-day event (www.tena.ca).
The CGNA Conference will feature a series of high profile keynote
speakers, oral and poster presentations, case studies and an industry
exhibition. All individuals in the field of gerontology are invited to
attend this insightful educational exchange and networking opportunity.
