The International Developmen Research Centre (IDRC) presents the launch of
a new book:
SMOKE AND MIRRORS
by Rob Cunningham, LL.B.
published by IDRC Books (see: http://www.idrc.ca). The book documents
Canada's unique history of tobacco control, a history from which other
countries, particularly developing countries where smoking is on the
increase, can draw lessons.
The launch is on October 30th at 5:00pm-7:00pm in the Ballroom of the
Chateau Laurier Hotel in Ottawa, on the occasion of the opening of the
Second National Conference on Tobacco and Health.
IDRC books are handled by Renouf Publishers, with sales offices in Ottawa
and Toronto, the Renouf web page is http://fox.nstn.ca/~renouf/order.html
