In a recently published article in the journal Global Health: Science
and Practice, a team of John Snow, Inc. (JSI) staff explore how
logistics data can be used to estimate contraceptive prevalence.
Because of the need for more frequent contraceptive prevalence rate
(CPR) estimates than population-based surveys currently provide, JSI
staff developed and evaluated models to generate country-level,
method-specific contraceptive prevalence estimates.
