For those who may be interested, the website Supercourse <http://www.pitt.edu/~super1/assist/sum.htm>  is a repository of lectures on global health and prevention designed to improve the teaching of prevention. Supercourse has a network of over 55000 scientists in 174 countries who are sharing for free a library of 3611 lectures in 26 languages. The Supercourse has been produced at the WHO Collaborating Center University of Pittsburgh. The website address is: www.pitt.edu/~super1/ <http://www.pitt.edu/~super1/> 
 
They are trying to provide all medical or allied health students with a CD containing over 3000 global health and prevention lectures which is all of the Supercourse content. As you know there is little training on Global Health and Prevention for Medical or allied health students, they want to change this. They would like to reach out to all new medical or allied health students with the message about the importance of global health and prevention and would like your help. 

They will send to you a free CD of the Supercourse materials.  They ask you to copy it for each of your first year students (you can of course copy it for faculty and other students). In general the cost is small for blank CDs (~$0.20) per student. There is the equivalent of 20 medical books for only 20 cents per person.

You will receive full credit. If you would like you can add your logo to the DVD along with the Library of Alexandria logo and are WHO Cc logo.
