Instructor: Tal Spalter, PhD
Dr. Tal Spalter is a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the Institute for Life Course =
and Aging, Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto. Tal works with Profe=
ssor Lynn McDonald, Director of the Institute, on a knowledge mobilization =
project that is examining how evidence-based social pocket tools, dissemina=
ted by the National Initiative for the Care of the Elderly (NICE), are bein=
g used by various stakeholders (e.g., older adults, caregivers, clinicians)=
. Her specialties are: Aging & Gerontology Studies; Social Capital and Soci=
al Networks; Life Course Transitions; Inter-generational and Family Relatio=
nships; Quality of Life; Knowledge Translation/Exchange; and Changes in fun=
ctioning in late life.
