A paper titled, Implications of the Shrinking Space for Feminist
Anti-Violence Advocacy, is available for download on the Canadian Council
on Social Development website of the 12th Canadian Social Welfare Policy

I am working to give this paper the broadest possible readership by
feminists in Canada and beyond. It is a piece of independent feminist
research. Feminist community activist and educator Mandy Bonisteel and I
are inviting women to circulate it to those in your networks (including
grassroots workers, ED's, program planners, researchers, funders,
educators, community developers, academics, social policy analysts,
curriculum developers, etc), because we believe the paper will be helpful
to feminists, community workers, and others in community-based
organizations and institutions, who are currently struggling to respond to
pressures that are undermining feminist analysis and shifting feminist
practice. We also welcome your response to the paper.
