Here's my message again then:

Hello SDOH subscribers,

Members of the Ontario Health Promotion Resource System, among others, need to report various details to our funders about our communications -- including posts to SDOH. Because we really have no idea who SDOH subscribers are or where they are on the planet, we end up reporting much higher "Unknown" numbers for our electronic communications than anyone would like.

We've put together a two-question survey to give us an idea of where and to whom our words travel, and we'd very much appreciate it if you would take one or two minutes to fill it out for us:

http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=984291610648

The survey closes on December 23. We'll post a summary of the results to the list shortly thereafter, so all can induldge their curiosity. We're using a direct survey instead of simply looking at the e-mail addresses because analyzing domains always underestimates the number of Canadians (think of all those rogers.com and hotmail.com addresses).

Thanks a lot, on behalf of the very ad hoc "reduce the Unknowns in reporting" group of the OHPRS. This is *not* an official SDOH request, so please direct replies and questions to me and not to the list facilitators.
