Hello,

Contribution to society here does not include moms who stay at home (unlike countries like Norway). The Scandinavian model does work (although Norway's system is dependent on the "Big Oil Piggy Bank!") and should be looked at carefully when this type discussion starts. I sat at home wondering what our government is thinking when it tells the U.N. that it has reached "many" of the targets outlined in the past. We STILL have 15% child poverty which has increased since the previous recommendations were set out- this alone is absolutely disgusting and a big black mark on our leaders.
