Karen Serwonka asked:
"The guaranteed livable income certainly sounds more far-reaching and,
as such, more equitable.
Can anyone on the listserv point to detailed sources of this - either in
the form of adopted or proposed policies to illustrate how such a policy
could be developed and implemented."
I network:
The Canadian list-serv on this is [log in to unmask]
And it's a cracker!! - eg the NDP in Alberta is promoting
GLI/GBI/LIFE/GAIA/BI - various names. And there's news there of a GLI
experiment in Dauphin in Manitoba in the 60's that being written up at
present, etc, etc
Google: Living Income for everybody - leads, eg, to
http://pacificcoast.net/~swag/guaranteedincome.htm etc,etc
Apologies for many postings by me today - but these are exciting times!
