Hello,
I've been wanting to introduce myself to this incredible group...and
Dennis has given me the perfect opportunity.  I work at Prairie Women's
Health Centre of Excellence as the Research and Policy Associate.  The
report that Dennis refered to on low income mothers is available at our
website, www.pwhce.ca  Follow the research link to the section on the
left bar, "Women, Poverty and Health", click to the list of reports on
this area.
Have a look around the website, there are many related projects, as
impact of poverty on health is one of our three core areas of research.
The other two are Aboriginal women's health and rural and remote women's
health.
Two reports have been released in the last few months, "Surviving on
Hope is Not Enough" and "Don't we Count as People".
