Reconceiving Midwifery

Please join us for the launch of the new collected work examining the
re-emergence of midwifery in Canada featuring co-editor,
Ivy Lynn Bourgeault

As well as the 3rd Annual Public Meeting of the
College of Midwives of Manitoba

Followed by
a community discussion co-hosted with
Prairie Women's Health Centre of Excellence and
Women's Health Clinic.

October 28, 2004 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at
Access River East, 975 Henderson Hwy.

It's been 4 years since midwifery officially became a part of our
maternity care system.
What is the status of midwifery in Manitoba in 2004?
What do we want midwifery to be?
How can you be part of it?

Families and babies welcome!
Ample parking available and fully accessible.
Copies of Reconceiving Midwifery will be available.
