[What are the odds that "Health Promotion" will take a structural approach
to health
rather than pounding us about the holy trinity of risk: tobacco, diet, activity?
Now is the time to send a letter to the Tornto Star and Globe and Mail suggesting
that the Ministry of Health Promotion provide the prequisities of health a la the

The Ontario government signalled its renewed focus on post-secondary education and
health today with a cabinet shuffle that created a new health-related ministry and
put a strong performer in charge of colleges and universities... SNIP
McGuinty also created the new ministry of Health Promotion, headed by Jim Watson,
a former Ottawa mayor, which will emphasize prevention.
