Dear SDOH colleagues,

The Healthier Wisconsin Partnership Program (HWPP) is recruiting for a new
Director. This presents an incredible opportunity to help shape and grow a
state-wide program of health-promoting community-academic partnerships! Please
see more details below.

HWPP is a program of the Medical College of Wisconsin and the MCW
Consortium on Public and Community Health that funds community-academic
partnerships with the goal of improving the health of the residents of
Wisconsin. To-date, approximately $17 million has been awarded by HWPP
to 78 community-medical school projects across the state focused on
community-based health education and promotion initiatives.

The Director is a leader who oversees and implements all aspects of HWPP
under the direction of the Senior Associate Dean for Public and
Community Health. The candidate is expected to provide planning and
administrative management of the MCW Consortium on Public and Community
Health (the board of directors for HWPP) and lead the development and
maintenance of effective administration for HWPP. The position and
program are distinguished by the following characteristics:

* Newly-developing with unique and uncharted elements
* Intense public nature and scrutiny
*      MCW-wide impact and responsibilities
* College and State-wide community impact and responsibilities
*      National significance and potential

They will begin reviewing applications on June 4 and will continue
review until the position is filled. Please review a full description
of responsibilities and application guidelines at
http://www.mcw.edu/display/router.asp?docid=9383

Upon submission of application materials, all applicants will be
contacted and asked to submit written responses to the following
questions:

1.	Describe your vision for the Healthier Wisconsin Partnership
Program.
2.	What challenges will the program face in the next five years,
and how would you suggest that we address those challenges?
3.	Describe your experience with community-academic partnerships
and what ideas you have for strengthening that model.
4.	Describe the strengths that you would bring to the position of
director; please document those strengths with examples from your
professional experience.

Please contact Ellen Servais, HWPP Assistant Director with any
questions:
