"Turning the Tide: Why Acting on Inequity Can Help Reduce Chronic Disease" tool kit is now available from the Public Health Agency of Canada's Atlantic Regional Office. For more details, see
http://www.phac-aspc.gc.ca/canada/regions/atlantic/Publications/Tides_of_change/turning_tide_e.html

Turning the Tide: Why Acting on Inequity Can Help Reduce Chronic Disease is a tool kit designed to support the use of the document, The Tides of Change: Addressing Inequity and Chronic Disease in Atlantic Canada; A Discussion Paper. The package was produced for use by community organizations in examining their work and policies in light of the information presented in the discussion paper.

The tool kit contains a variety of hands-on resources for use in presentations and group discussions. It includes handouts, overheads, a Power Point presentation, a presentation outline, tips for presenters, and a CD with all of the materials in pdf format. The resource was produced by Janis Wood Catano, Easy-to-Read Writing, and Janet Rhymes, Logical Minds, for the Atlantic Regional Office of the Public Health Agency of Canada.
