My name is Patti Griffin, and I work at CBC radio in Corner Brook ,
Newfoundland.
We are working on stories having to do with the difficulty recruiting
doctors to rural areas...
As you know it's a problem throughout the country . In our area...it
has become particularly alarming.

I remember reading a report on the SDOH list serve...that spoke of
incentives for keeping doctors in rural areas....
It mentioned how a doctor's status... is related to where he
works...the factors that contribute to moving up in the medical
world.,..don't coincide...with a life in rural areas... etc
I can't  seem to find it in the archives....If you can point me in the
right direction I would appreciate it...
