Ontario - the province that continues to claw-back the Child Benefit from
families on social assistance and offers starvation minimum wage and social
assistance benefits, has established a "Ministry of Health Promotion."

While the oligatory references are made to health public policy and the
Ottawa Charter, its mandate appears to be the same old cra_: big on
"healthy living", no mention of rotten living conditions.

Send them an email telling them waht you think!  I can assure you -- having
worked in government -- they simply count up the positives and negatives.
They do not go after you and get you fired from your local health unit or
other employment.
