You cannot have it both ways.

1. "The reduction in heart disease is due to increasing use of margarine
and not butter."
2." Margarine is jammed full of transfat which is a risk factor for heart
disease."

In addition

There is no evidence tranfats causes learning disabilities, cvd, stroke,
school drop-out, lung disease, asthma, visits to emergency rooms, diabetes,
joining gangs, smoking, depression, mental illness, nonuse of condoms, low
birth weight, child abuse, lack of personal control, teenage pregnancy,
injuries, HIV, etc.

There is incontrovertible evidence however that low income and exclusion
causes all of these afflictions.

You tell me which is more important? Transfats or social determinants of
health?
