We have posted to hire a Scholar in the Social Determinants of Health  
(Associate or Full level) at Portland State University. This position  
is based in the School of Social Work which includes bachelors,  
masters and PhD program, and a strong focus on social and economic  
justice.

There is currently also a sociology position posted at the Assistant  
Professor level that focuses on the social determinants of health.

As a transplant from Toronto 5 years ago, I have found the university  
to be deeply committed to partnered research with the community and to  
advancing mezzo and macro social change.
