Structure of Workshop
Local and international leaders speak to one enduring challenge they
have encountered in their work in measuring impacts of community
and/or system-change initiatives. Their presentations will focus on
aspects of their work that need a progressive approach to performance
measurement and evaluation. This will be followed by responses from
Canadian leaders in the evaluation field. The last hour will be open
for dialogue and discussion. The event will be highly interactive with
ample opportunity for questions and dialogue, and will provide a space
to discuss the ways in which evaluative thinking and evaluation
approaches can help address a range of policy issues, community and
system-level problems.
Who will this workshop appeal to?
Although all are welcome, this workshop is especially designed for
those who work in a policy or community setting. This workshop is
especially relevant to individuals who work on implementing and
evaluating programs and policies in the community, health,
educational, environmental, development and other sectors, and those
who work on system change initiatives.
