In fact, all of us in poverty in this country are dying. We'll live a
considerable number of years less than would have been the case had Canada's
'social safety net' not been torn to shreds by our federal and provincial
governments.

I can understand the resolve - and despair and hurt - that is driving Sara's
action. It would be hypocritical of me to tell her "Don't," since all of the
women of WISE coast in and out of that mindset too. It's a constant option.
