Dear SDOH colleagues,

The Kaiser Permanente Community Fund at Northwest Health Foundation seeks
proposals for community-based projects intended to enhance the social factors
that promote health equity, and eliminate those that contribute to health
disparities. Proposals for funding may address such diverse topics as public
safety, secure employment, environmental quality, social capital, affordable
housing, and community organizing.

Letters of inquiry are due July 9, 2007.

Interested in applying for a grant? To learn more about the social determinants
of health and how to put together a competitive proposal, attend a meeting
at the Northwest Health Foundation offices on Friday, June 22 from 1 to 2
pm. NWHF staff and KPCF advisors will present information about the 2007
grant cycle and answer your questions.
