Members may be interested in several open letters published today
related to the cuts to LAC, the CCA and NADP.
The librarians chapter of York University Faculty Association (YUFA) has
publicly posted two open letters to Minister James Moore regarding the
cuts to Library Archives Canada staff and services and cuts to the
Canadian Council of Archives, the National Archival Development Fund.

A collaborative project I am involved in, the Portuguese Canadian
History Project (PCHP) has also written a letter of protest to Ministers
James Moore and John Baird which also addresses cuts to the
"Understanding Canada" program, run through Department of Foreign
Affairs and Foreign Trade. It is available here:
