Our bags are packed, and we are excited for our trip to Ontario. The School
of Library and Information Science at San Jose State University is hosting
open house events in early September in Toronto, Hamilton, Newmarket and
Ottawa. Everyone is invited to attend. Please feel free to forward this
email invitation.

You're Invited

Our school is only online, but for a few days in September, we're coming to
your home town to meet with you face-to-face at our open house events in
Ontario.

If you've been thinking about earning your master's degree, or perhaps
refreshing your skills by completing a post-master's certificate, we
encourage you to stop by one of our information sessions, and learn how the
School of Library and Information Science at San Jose State University can
help you achieve your educational goals.

It's the perfect opportunity to meet with our school's director,
<http://slisapps.sjsu.edu/facultypages/view.php?fac=hirshs> Dr. Sandra
Hirsh, and talk to her about your career aspirations. She can help you
decide which one of our fully online programs is best suited for you. Our
school offers a master's degree in library and information science, a
master's degree in archives and records administration, a post-master's
certificate, and a gateway doctoral program. All our school's
<http://slisweb.sjsu.edu/prospective-students/choose-your-program>
educational programs are only online.

In addition, you'll chat with <http://slisweb.sjsu.edu/people/alumni> SJSU
SLIS alumni, and hear how our school prepared them for successful careers in
the information profession. Hundreds of your fellow Canadians are alumni of
our school, and we're proud of their accomplishments.

Light refreshments will be provided during these open house events. Event
