Here are links to a few reports that we have used to help develop our
Healthy Eating, Active Communities Initiative that might be helpful:

Accelerating Policy on Nutrition: Lessons from Tobacco, Alcohol,
Firearms and Traffic Safety (Berkeley Media Studies Group)

APPENDIX: Accelerating Policy on Nutrition: Lessons from Tobacco,
Alcohol, Firearms and Traffic Safety (Berkeley Media Studies Group)
This appendix contains details on the components of an infrastructure;
specific research ideas; the agenda and four memos prepared for the
Acceleration Meeting Detailed in the report above. Each memo describes
one public health issue's trajectory from a personal to an environmental
concern, key research "moments" that propelled action (including policy
action), strategic triumphs and gaffs, and the memo author's suggestions
for how the lessons might transfer to obesity.

Subject: [SDOH] Public Policy approaches that encourage health promoting
envionments and healthy choices....

Hi all,
Would really appreciate it if people could please put me in touch with
work that is happening in the area of 'Public Policy approaches that
encourage health promoting envionments and healthy choices' that has
translated into tangible Legislative, regulation and fiscal measures as
well.

Smoking is probably the example that comes to mind...but Id love to hear
what else may also be happening out there
