Hello everyone,

Please consider adding your voice for quick action on a federal disability benefit. The federal government proposed this benefit in the 2020 Throne speech and renewed its commitment to it in the 2021 budget, but things seem to be stalled. The important thing about this benefit is that it is supposed to be in addition to any provincial disability benefits, that is, not clawed back like other benefits. I will not personally benefit from this, but it's a much needed addition to the income security options available.
