Dear Frendin Sue,

If you are interested in big pictures from a macro-policy perspective, a very recent 52-page paper of mine will be of interest to you. It analyzes and compares three very different policy approaches to improve the population's health, and it questions the extent to which the new public health + social determinants of health have been incorporated into provincial health policies in Canada. If interested send me a private reply note and I will forward it to you (this list automatically rejects postings with attachments).

Hi all,
Would really appreciate it if people could please put me in touch with work that is happening in the area of 'Public Policy approaches that encourage health promoting envionments and healthy choices' that has translated into tangible Legislative, regulation and fiscal measures as well.

Smoking is probably the example that comes to mind...but Id love to hear what else may also be happening out there Ta
