Subject: [SDOH] How to run a workshop
Hello everyone. I'm writing to the list in the hope that someone can
refer me to a good resource.
WISE has recently received Status of Women funding in support of its
Policies of Exclusion, Poverty & Health: Scarlet letter campaign.
For this campaign, we will be running six workshops, one in each of six
locations - likely four on Vancouver Island and two in and around
Vancouver. Our intention is to i) spread the word about the WISE
movement, ii) share our key recommendations, and iii) build the movement
by signing up members who will form into new WISE groups. These groups,
supported by the parent group based in the Cowichan Valley, will work to
expand the cause in their own communities.
My question is: Can you point me to a clear, concise manual on how to
run a workshop? I'm looking for the equivalent of Workshops for Dummies.
