Greetings:

You may want to look at the studies on stress by Dr. Fleda Mask
Jackson. She is a Visiting Professor to Rollins School of Public
Health, from Spelman College (Atlanta)

In fact, her project was research dissemination addressing stress
reduction among African American women = "Calming Waters" funded by the
Ford Foundation.

Her other study, in which employees of a public hospital (Grady) were
involved in her initial study "Calming The Waters, Holding Back The
Storm - funded by CDC & Prevention. This project addressed stress and
health outcomes at this facility. The response was overwhelming with
participants.

All for now

Just to be clear, what I was referring to was the increased risk of
experiencing stress and anxiety by those who are less educated.
Education
and level of literacy is linked with health outcomes and I'm just
trying to
get at the 'stress and anxiety' component of the interaction of these
variables.

Annette :)
