reduce geographical  & class inequalities in dental decay.

This Dear Colleague letter encourages Strategic Health Authorities and
Primary Care Trusts to consider fluoridation to reduce inequalities in
oral health. It covers the legislative framework, the requirement for
PCTs to assess the oral health needs of their population and good
practices on the conduct of consultations on new fluoridation schemes
