WE NOW HAVE PEDOMETER KITS AVAILABLE FOR LOAN

These kits are great for helping a group of people get active through
walking and other activities. Each kit includes educational books and CDs
about motivating adults and kids to get active, 18 pedometers, and other
physical activity aids such as a Thera-Band, skipping rope, stopwatch and
lanyard.

The kits are available for loan at no cost. For more information call the
Alberta Centre for Active Living at 780-427-6949 or 1-800-661-4551 (Alberta
toll-free).

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY FOR PUBLIC HEALTH (PAPH) PRACTITIONERS COURSE

This course offers international insights as well as a uniquely Canadian
perspective on increasing knowledge about physical activity in communities.
September 29 - October 2, 2008, in Banff, Alberta.
