Sustainability and Community Based Research
Toronto Community Based Research Network invites you to hear presentations on sustainability and community based research. We all struggle with what is next? We work hard to complete the research but then are challenged to find the resources to sustain partnerships and build on the research to create change.
Join us to hear and discuss:
1 Sarena Seifer of the Community-Campus Partnerships for Health provide an overview of sustainability and community based research
2 Kyle Scanlon, Anna Travers and Jake Pyne from Trans PULSE will discuss a recent project and share their successes and challenges in sustaining the project. Learn more about the facilitators that helped them move the research forward.
3 Resident and agency members of BePart (Building Equitable Partnerships) in Lawrence Heights discuss their recent project. Presenters will also share BePart’s ideas and challenges for moving forward in terms of collaborative action and further research. Small group discussions will follow the presentation to brainstorm some solutions to the challenges posed.
