The Ontario Association of Food Banks produced a similar report in 2008: The cost of poverty: An analysis of the economic cost of poverty in Ontario http://www.oafb.ca/assets/pdfs/CostofPoverty.pdf I am not aware of many other studies arguing the *economic* case for reducing poverty. Are there more out there?
