What?? You too? (not specific to the Star). It gets to the point that 
you know you will be thrown out before it actually happens, so often 
times it becomes a 'testing of the waters', so to speak - talking the 
talk vs walking the talk, to use outdated colloquiums.

I sent her this email this morning with the two articles on the media and
poverty published recently by Michael Hayes...   :-)

Ms. Goar:

About seven years ago you practically threw me out from a Star Editorial
Board meeting for having the audacity of suggesting that the media --
including the Star -- was not covering the living conditions and health
relationship.

The attached articles from Dr. Michael Hayes and others provide some data
on this.

Guess what?

I was right.

Perhaps if I had been listened to, the Star would not have to be carrying
out its "War on Poverty" and the hundreds of thousands of people suffering
in Toronto would have had more of a voice these past 7 years.
