CREATE A MOVEMENT KICKS OFF A NEW CAMPAIGN: "CATCH HEALTH"
The Create A Movement social marketing initiative from Alberta Health and
Wellness has kicked off an amusing new campaign, “Catch Health.” Aimed at
kids, the campaign promotes healthy living by spoofing the warning messages
that health agencies usually use for contagious diseases like the mumps.

HELPFUL NEW RESOURCE ON PHYSICAL INACTIVITY AMONG ALBERTAN YOUTH
On September 26, 2008, Dr. John Spence presented “Addressing Physical
Inactivity Among Youth in Alberta” at the Alberta Active Living Partners
annual networking meeting in Edmonton. We have made the PowerPoint

On November 24, 2008, Phase II of the Public Health Agency of Canada's

Prevention will be launched. Visitors will find new content in mental
health, obesity, and newcomers/immigrant health.
