Dear Beth, please list the students comments. I'd like to hear them and maybe try to apply your method in my own forthcoming teaching. :-)
Best regards,

Assunto: [SDOH] This Little Piggy....

Thanks for such a wonderfully stimulating and active listserv.

I have been teaching a dip ed course on health and physical education over the last few years.
One way I have managed to get a bit of group discussion going around the ideas of social determinants, is to ask the students in what way the rhyme, This Little Piggy Went to Market, is a metaphor for our current way of life. I have had some very interesting ideas put forward and wondered if any of you would also like to comment.
I will list the student comments if anyone is interested.
thanks and best wishes
Beth Rankin, La Trobe University, Melbourne, Australia
