One of the things that Torontonians can do right now is support their
Mayor's call for one cent of the GSP/PST paid in the city. This is similar
to what WISE women are calling for, but for ALL communities and for more
than one cent. In fact, we think the Federation of Canadian Municipalities
should be pushing hard for this. 

Without more cash, local governments haven't much room to do what they want
and need to do for their citizens.
