Healthcare Division

Position: Healthcare Evaluator

Responsibilities:

The Healthcare Evaluator will be responsible for developing and managing all
aspects of evaluation activities for the Medical Division of a
community-based organization serving people living with HIV in Harlem and
the South Bronx.  In this capacity, this individual will:

·       Create and oversee a Quality Management Program aimed at improving various
aspects of service delivery;
·       Create and oversee an Outcome Evaluation Program aimed at assessing the
efficacy of our programs;
·       Contribute to the development and improvement of data tracking and
reporting systems;
·       Collaborate with other agency Evaluators in developing and implementing
cross-agency evaluation initiatives;
·       Act as agency liaison for external evaluation projects in which we are
participants;
·       Develop evaluation-related plans, materials, and protocols for proposals
or currently active programs;
·       Manage and analyze evaluation data;
·       Oversee the accuracy and integrity of data collected;
·       Produce written reports, publications, and presentations concerning
evaluation processes and findings;
·       Collaborate with stakeholders (clients, frontline staff, and management)
in all stages of evaluation processes.
·       Train Management and Line-staff on various aspects of evaluation;

Qualifications:

·       An advanced degree in a health or human service field or the social
sciences
·       Minimum 3 years experience managing research or program evaluation
projects, Quality Management experience a plus
·       Expertise with both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
·       Advanced statistical knowledge and facility with statistical packages,
SPSS preferred
·       Exceptional written and communication/training skills
·       Knowledge of HIV and  HIV service provision  highly desirable
