On *November 27, 2012* Dr. Kamaldeep Bhui, Professor of Cultural Psychiatry
and Epidemiology at Queen Mary University of London, will present *“Violent
radicalization as a public Mental Health Issue”*. This webinar will examine
the question ‘should violent radicalization be considered a public health
issue, or only a criminal justice issue?’. Exploring the pros and cons of
both viewpoints, the processes involved in radicalization and its place in

On *December 11, 2012* Dr. Wanrudee Isaranuwatchai, Health Economist at the
Keenan Research Centre of the Li Ka Shing Knowledge Institute St. Michael’s
Hospital, will present *“Two years after the 2004 Tsunami in Thailand, what
happened to people’s health?”*. We should not forget those who were
previously affected by natural disasters, their needs are still important.
This webinar will present a study that examined the one- and two-years
impact of the 2004 Tsunami disaster on physical and mental health in
