Dear Friends of SDOH List-Serve
As you have all articulated – social exclusion is a determinant of health! I am re-intruding you to the Opening Doors Project to the list-serve. Please feel free to pass along this information about the FREE peer-led workshops on mental health and anti-racism & anti-discrimination offered by The Opening Doors Project at Canadian Mental Health Association-Toronto.
The Opening Doors Project provides education and training all over the province of Ontario with the hopes of opening up more spaces for newcomers and people who live with mental illness.
Funded by the Opening Doors Project is running for a second consecutive year providing workshops FREE of charge throughout Ontario. This means that although we are located at Downsview, we are able to travel all over the city and province. This might be a good opportunity to organize something for your clients as and staff.
We are now booking for December and beyond. Details about the workshops can be found @ www.toronto.cmha.ca/ct_openingdoors/openingdoors.asp.
