The two character string "ED" following the "?list=ED" was somehow
introduced in the YouTube link making it faulty. All my recordings,
except for a very few, were made of public readings in the virtual world
of Second Life. There is, or at least was at the time, a fairly strong
interest in literature amongst Second Life users. I created an avatar
named SLClemens to show up at different sites there and read from
Twain's works. I did several and Connecticut Yankee was the last one. I
was also reading The Prince and the Pauper during the same period and I
wanted to compare these two works. Also, CY was read in a venue created
by an English lady who existed in Second Life as a wood elf. It seemed
somehow appropriate. The avatars in the audience didn't seem to mind
how badly I butchered Malory.
