I'll second Paul's appreciate of Tim's informative post.  In going
through some turn of the century issues of the Chicago-based weekly,
_The Public_, I noticed advertisements for Henry George Cigars.  This
was past the height of his popularity but I don't know how much
earlier they were sold.
