Lisa Hudson,

Regarding your need for an expert interview, I would suggest Dr. John Cooley
at Western Michigan University, who teaches Twain regularly at the graduate
level. He has also authored two books of related interest, _Mark Twain's
Aquarium: The Samuel Clemens-Angelfish Correspondence_ and _Savages &
Naturals: Black Portraits by White Writers in Modern American Literature.
Dr.
Cooley is very approachable and is always interested in things Twain. He can
be reached through the WMU switchboard at (616) 387-1000 or via e-mail at

Tim Beals

P.S. Dr. Cooley will be one of the featured speakers next week at the 1995
Spring Lecture Series at Quarry Farm on the topic of Twain's Angelfish.
